Since 2026, Texas Online Academy (TXOA) by K12, offers our students the support they need to learn, grow, and succeed — in a tuition-free online public school that fits your family’s lifestyle. TXOA welcomes Texas residents in grades K–12.
Our Mission
Every student learns differently. Celebrating those differences and offering tailored support to each student is what makes our school so special and packed with different perspectives. TXOA is an online, tuition-free public school by K12. We exist to empower students in grades K–12 to “learn how they learn” — in the ways that are right for them.

Through K12’s proven online learning programs and supportive school community, TXOA is designed to help students build the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Learning at home doesn’t mean you’re learning alone! Our teachers are committed to helping your family succeed with online learning, providing tailored instruction and support as your child works through the curriculum.

You’ll also receive textbooks and other hands-on education materials delivered right to your door! These offline materials complement the interactive online elements of the lessons and vary by grade and course.
